Technical Project Manager – IT Integration
Job Description: The Technical Project Manager will apply technical proficiency, discernment, and project management skills to solve dynamic and complex business challenges. Experience leading integration projects for acquisitions of varying size, scope, and complexity is a must. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with leadership, business partners, technical engineers, support teams, information security, and others to successfully integrate acquired organizations. The Technical Project Manager role leads the planning, execution, and operational transition of M&A EIT Integration projects for Upland Software. This resource orchestrates project communication, drives solutions to unique integration requirements, manages project timelines, and otherwise facilitates the transition of acquired companies into Upland Software. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring a solid ability to align diverse teams on a common goal. A blend of business and technical acumen coupled with project management discipline is critical to success.Responsibilities:Demonstrate understanding of how system management actions affect users and dependent/ related functions.Obtain and organize acquired orgs infrastructure topology and systems configurations.Ensure program deadlines are met by working independently and efficiently.Collaborate with management to establish project/integration principles.High level of attention to detailCoordinates with related departments and functions to emphasize project integration flow and understandingUtilizes project management tools to keep on target and to report accordinglyChampions change management throughout project milestonesStrong ability to articulate project updates to both business and technical associatesSelf-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates problem-solving skills. Able to learn effectively and meet tight deadlines.Successfully manage global integration projects including; infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, end user management, communication, collaboration and business applications used across various departments.Design, develop and maintain a detailed work breakdown of tasks to be accomplished for the initiative and help ensure that tasks are getting accomplished on time and within budgetCreate an effective communication plan covering various stakeholders across Upland Software and acquired organizational business unitsProvide strong and deep technical insights in various disciplines across delivery and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes and best practicesUnderstand the use of industry tools/technology and their impact on project and operational goalsParticipate in process improvement initiatives by working across teams to enhance the systems, processes and controls to ensure effective deployments.
