Senior Facade Engineer

Job Description ARKS is continuing to grow as we undertake new projects with well-respected architectural firms, developers, and clients. We are seeking an experienced Senior Façade Engineer who has profound knowledge in the façade and building physics industry. The right candidate will be expected to carry out façade design engineering tasks, be responsible for all drawing sets, structural analysis, presentation, and detailing in all project phases, and coordinate work with architects, clients, and other consultants.Role and responsibilities:Lead, steer, and mentor Façade teamUndertake the design, engineering, and documentation.Resolve Facades and building’s envelope technical problems and ensure the quality of products and services undertaken by the teamPropose potential Façade systems, design strategies, interface solutions, and detail input on full building envelope.Review, customize and optimize project specifications to fit into project’s needs and intended façade performance criteriaCarry out Glazing, Curtain wall framing, sub-structure, brackets and anchorage, etc. Structural analysesCarry out coordination and data exchange with architects, mechanical, structural, and electrical engineersReview façade details, reports, and analyses produced by junior façade engineers and assures the company’s quality standards.Review contractors shop drawings and calculationsExplore the latest products, technologies, and software to help develop the company
