Network Engineer
Job Summary:Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Monitor network performance and integrityResolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructureAutomate tasks and monitor their effectivenessMaintain complete technical documentationSuggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalabilityChange implementation – system upgrades, automation (scripting)Problem Management – Identify service impacting trends and work with the development teams to implement long term solutions.Incident Mitigation – On call rotation to mitigate incident.Work is performed in a 24/7 operations environment. Must be available to work weekends and holidays on an on call basis.Responisble for IP Telephony and Call centers Systems.Create, manage and maintain IPSEC tunnels.Role and ResponsibilitiesProvide 2nd level support of Linux for supported servicesResolve problems and issues occurred on the Linux servers within the times specified in the SLAWork through problems and issues to obtain root cause analysisSupport planning and install of new operating system releases to maintain software currency.
